Careful consideration and planning is taken into foals bred at Oceana Park. Each joining is carefully researched so both the stallion and mare compliment each other with their desired qualities. Since living through a horrible drought we have further tightened our breeding numbers and it will be rare for us to produce any more than 2 to 4 foals a season.
The majority of the ponies bred at Oceana Park are eligable for registration with the following other societies: Australian Pony Stud Book, Australian Saddle Pony Association, Australian Stud Saddle Pony Association, Riding Pony Stud Book and Sports Pony Registry. Dilutes will be eligable for registration with Dilutes Australia, NBS, Palomino, DEVA. Roans will be eligable for Roan Society rego.

Fairwater High Society and Wattles Lemon Creme produced a beautiful filly on 7th August at 1.40am. She is buckskin and will grey out. A very friendly filly who loves her people. Oceana Park Savannah will be retained.

2016 Planned Matings
As of June 2015 we are currently planning the first breeding at Oceana Park since Oceana Park Gwilym was conceived in 2012. We have carefully selected three mares to be bred to foal in 2016.
Fairwater Jubilation, a grand daughter to both Weston Gigli (Imp), Rotherwood Charm (Imp) and Colbeach Firefly (Imp) and carrying two crosses to the unsurpassed Australian sire Sir Percy of Paxhall (Imp) and a further back duplication again to Weston Gigli (Imp) and a double cross to Llysun Corrie (Imp) will be bred to our Wattles Lemon Creme. This breeding (A x B) should infuse the pony character yet retain the height as Blondie is a tall section A stallion. This foal will be a Section B. This foal will be retained by Oceana Park.
Fairwater High Society, a grand daughter to the incredible showman Twyford Monarch (Imp), show mare Fairway Vivacious (IID) and Gredington Gamelyn (Imp), will after a very long absence from the broodmare paddock be bred to our new stallion Wattles Lemon Creme who's sire and dam Osory Tomahawk and Wattles Lemon Blossom have had incredibly successful showring careers. Blondie also brings the lines of Waxwing Herod (Imp), Weston Pin Up (Imp), Twyford Santa (Imp), Kidwell Pipson (imp), Hollybush Joker (Imp) and several lines to the memorable Clan Pip. The resulting foal will carry 12 lines to the legendary Coed Coch Madog. Plans are to retain this foal, however expressions of interest are invited to those interested in these precious old bloodlines. The resulting foal will be either Buckskin or Perlino with the possibility of going grey.
Our third and final planned mating due in 2016 is between Wattles Lemon Creme and our homebred mare Oceana Park Lustre. Lustre is the offspring of our elderly senior stallion, the Multi Supreme Champion Glynyarra Beacon and out of our 'best' broodmare Fairwater Giselle. Lustre brings the lines of Carnalw Hyderus (Imp), Weston Mink Mitt (Imp), Glangwesyn Poseidon (IID) and Ceulan Sovereign (Imp) and the Coed Coch ponies: C.C. Proffwyd (Imp), C.C. Cristin (Imp), C.C Senig (Imp) and C.C. Planed. These lines combined with Wattle Lemon Creme should nick in well together. The resulting foal could be either buckskin or palamino with the possibility of grey. Plans are to retain a filly, a colt will possibly be available once gelded to the right home.
